Life on land and water

Hello everyone! It's me Rinikee and, I want to start by saying that I'm so sorry for not posting for so long. The problem was I could not find anything interesting in my house, but don't worry I'll try to keep posting. So, in school have you ever been assigned to any clubs? Well in clubs you are assigned to do different activities, for example, you take eco-club (like me) you get assigned something or in my case choose to do something then you have to make it and submit it. So, for the eco-club, I chose to make a blog so, here I am. So today I'll be discussing life on land and water. Let's go.

Life on land- Terrestrial ecosystems provide a series of goods, raw materials for construction and energy, food, and a series of ecosystem services including the capture of carbon, maintenance of soil quality, provision of habitat for biodiversity, maintenance of water quality, as well as regulation of water flow and erosion control, therefore contributing to reduce the risks of natural disasters such as floods and landslides, regulate climate and maintain the productivity of agricultural systems. Maintaining those ecosystems greatly supports climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts.

Life on water- There is the same amount of water on Earth as there was when the Earth was formed. The water from your faucet could contain molecules that dinosaurs drank. Water is composed of two elements, Hydrogen, and Oxygen. 2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen = H2O. Nearly 97% of the world’s water is salty or otherwise undrinkable. Another 2% is locked in icecaps and glaciers. That leaves just 1% for all of humanity’s needs — all its agricultural, residential, manufacturing, community, and personal needs. Water regulates the Earth’s temperature. It also regulates the temperature of the human body, carries nutrients and oxygen to cells, cushions joints, protects organs and tissues, and removes wastes.
